Hello Couch Surfing Community!

I strive to live a life I can be proud of, and to make an impact on those I surround myself with. Living sustainably is important to me, and I consider myself a minimalist. I enjoy kayaking, fishing, sailing, surfing, volleyball, basketball, tennis, golf, biking and camping.

I recently quit my job as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst and moved out to Colorado to work on an organic farm with some friends from college. It was an easy decision to make after visiting the previous 2 summers. The hiking, biking, and camping in the area is amazing, and I have no regrets! In addition to working on the farm, I'm also doing work trade with Solar Energy International (SEI), keeping up the grounds in exchange for classes on installing solar PV systems. I grew up in a beach town in Florida, and I've lived in several cities in my 28 years in the state. You can't beat a day on the water. I find myself missing the ocean sometimes, but it's only a short flight away!

I recently found out about Couchsurfing, and joined in the hopes of using it to travel and meet new people from around the world. I didn't do a lot of traveling as a child, but I've visited many places in the U.S. over the last few years, and I'll be taking a trip to Southeast Asia at the end of the year. I enjoy new experiences, new foods, conversations about politics, economics, personal philosophies, and sports.
