About Me
Hello! Cool that you're reading my profile.
I am not sure what to write about myself. Guess you'll have to find out for yourself who I am. Perhaps you'll read my personality from how I write and stuff? :3
In all seriousness though, I think it is highly practical to know that I eat veganism and I would appreciate it very much when people acknowledge my dietary preferences.
If you don't know what it means, it means that I exclude almost all animal-derived products from my diet. This exclusion includes meat (of course), milk, eggs and (for the hardcore vegans under us) certain E-numbers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing for the same reason as everyone on Couchsurfing, methinks: to meet other people. When I first heard of this initiative, I loved it right away. I've always been an opponent of those fear-mongering statements like: 'You cannot trust anyone on the internet. Also every "girl" you talk to has a penis. Or they want your money and catfish you.' And this Couchsurfing proves the complete opposite. You CAN trust people from the internet. And you can trust in the fact that there is only a very small percentage of evil people in the world that would harm you and steal your couch. The huge majority of people just wants to have fun and be kind to one another. Typical human nature, methinks. c: I love believing in people's kindness ^^
Interests
Science!!!
Science is a way of advanced thinking to understand the world we live in. And I am very curious about how the world works and how people work. I'm mostly interested in brains and psychology (as my study would suggest).
If you're not interested in science, I will most definitely find ways to impress and entertain you with cool things that I've learned.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I farted once in highschool, and made the whole hallway stinky for at least a full minute!! Was so proud.
Met the love of my lyfe in Poland. I talked with her for a day on the internet, decided I'd be her loyal partner after a few hours of talking. After a week I flew from the Netherlands to Poland to meet her (I never flew before or went to a different country on my own) and we're still happy after 6 months.
Was a first-year on my university for three years in a row and still failed. Even if my abilities failed, my enthusiasm for psychobiology did not.
And lastly: I and my girlfriend biked from my home in s'-Hertogenbosch through Germany to the border of Poland in a week. We couchsurfed every day at the next stop. We cheated a little bit though, and did about 520 out of 800km. But still! :D
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're active on couchsurfing, you probably already have certain personality traits. Like being curious, adventurous, playful, easy-going, without judgement and so on. If not, This is because when you surf couches, it's very hard to keep yourself from learning new things. And trying new things throughout your whole life, keeps the brain young. This is why it is likely to have these aforementioned personality traits, if you're on this page.
