关于我

(French below)

Hi ! I'm a french teenager, I travelled a lot in my life and I want to travel even more ! I also often travel with my girlfriend. I love to discover new cultures and to live in different places. I did a year abroad when I was 17 (I went to study in the USA, CA). I'm really friendly and I'd be glad to share a part of my life with you aswell as listening to what you have to tell. :)

(As I will soon be travelling with my girlfriend, you might be wondering who she is, so here is her profile : https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2003555143 . We are in a relationship since 6 months and she can speak English and German.)

Bonjour ! :)

For three points : I'm really sociable so I like to meet people, I love to discover a place from the inner point a view of a local resident and finally, I don't like paying an hotel room when I know I can be guest in someone's house.

I'm really into discovering places, foods and cultures. I love museums as much as I love walking freely into a city. I also like to hear about life of the people I meet and I also like to speak about my own life (although, I'm a bit "shy" to start speaking about myself because I'm not sure if it's really THAT interesting for the person I'm speaking to).

I love all types of music, my favorites are reggae, dub, electro, rap, jazz and classical. And my favorite artists would be Bob Marley, BB King, Balkan Beatbox and Cypress Hill.

Well, I've kind of answered that already, but let's get into it deeper. What I'm looking for through music is the emotion that can emerge, that's why Bob Marley and BB king are my favorites. Then with Balkan Beatbox I feel like travelling which is also appreciate a lot. And finally Cypress Hill is for me a reminder of my "adventures in the USA."

I do read a looot of books, pretty one per week, even my studies in High School were focused on literature and philosophy. My favorite books would be "1984" and "Sophie's World."

I love movies and I've seen lots of them but my memory is pretty bad so I'm incapable of quoting a good actor nor a good director... (well, my memory is pretty good except for the names, I even forgot my cousin's name once. I truly hate myself when it happens) :)

I went to study abroad for an entire year !
It was THE most amazing thing in my life and I'm planning on doing it again in a year and and half.
I've been to High School there (I even graduated), I visited most of California: San Francisco and its famous Chinatown as well as its beautiful bridge, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Disneyland (I must admit, I'm a bit childish when it comes to Disney...), San Louis, Santa Maria etc. And the city I lived in was Eureka. If you look about it on internet you'll see that people are really negative about this place, but in my opinion it is truly a wonderful city.
I also went to ski in Mt. Bachelor in Oregon and I visited Las Vegas for a weeekend.
I really loved this year <3

I'm really into listening, I love meeting people that are able to advice well and nicely. When it comes to learning I prefer listening than speaking endlessly.

If I had to to share something, it would be: "Always be respectful and try to be as wise as possible instead of memorizing the facts that your TV is feeding you with.
Question yourself all the time and before judging the ones you don't know, try to understand their situation as well as their pasts."

I hope I didn't get too serious :)

My memories, the food from my country, my jokes and my friendliness. I sometime look like a cold person from the outside but be sure that I will never talk badly about you. I'm really honest, polite and open-minded and I will for sure be friendly with you, for the simple fact that you must be a kind person for opening your home to the world.

Thank you so much if you can host me, and even if you can't, thanks for at least looking at my profile. Love from France, Joris.
