Hello world!

My name is Marleen and I am 24 years old. I am from Germany, but the past four years I studied and lived in Breda, in the Netherlands. Since I finished my Bachelor studies in International Tourism Management I am trying to figure out what I want to do in life and where I would like to move next. I am currently travelling through Europe to meet up with friends and to get inspired by all the beautiful souls out there.

I would describe myself as an open-minded and sensitive person. I can get super enthusiastic about beautiful landscapes and sunsets, hiking, good music, trampolines and cliff jumping. I am addicted to the feeling of freedom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a couchsurfing member since 2016, however, I never actively used it, which I wish to change now. I see this as a great opportunity to get to know new people from different places and to either get a local experience in a new country, or to invite a part of the "world" into my home. I feel that we can all learn a lot from each other and spend a great time together.

I would love to learn Spanish and I am currently on the mission to learn surfing in Spain and Portugal! I enjoy singing together and sharing (travel) stories and experiences with each other. I am also interested to cook delicious vegetarian dishes together and I am happy to teach you some German if you want to.
