At the age of 20, directly after finishing highschool, I did my first big journey. With three friends I travelled through Europe; visiting France, Austria, Turkey and Greece.
Seeing different places and meeting new people from around the world on my first long journey I got fascinated and overwhelmed by travelling.

Since then I love to travel, in Germany or abroad. I especially like to meet new people and to experience their way of living and their perspective on the world. But apart from travelling and staying at places just for a short term, I also love to live at one place for a longer time. Thats why I lived for half a year in Aarhus, Denmark, and for half a year in Istanbul, Turkey, during my studies. Because staying for a longer time and having a everyday life leads sometimes to total different experiences.

I am also a bike touring enthusiast. In 2018 I did my first long bike tour which took me from Athens in Greece to the Nordkapp in Norway. And I am looking for more trips like this in the future!

I would describe myself as an uncomplicated, funny guy. I am used to a simple and down to earth way of living because I dont have much money but also because I dont like consumerism and commercial places in general. Nevertheless, I like to go out and experience new stuff and I never get tired of it.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My first experience with couchsurfing was during a trip to Morocco. I was travelling with three friends and one of them was a passionated couchsurfer. He got in contact with hosts in Fes, Essaouira and Marrakech so that we had places to stay during our journey but also met really nice people who showed us around.

This experience really fascinated me and inspired me to become also a member of the couchsurfer community.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went from Athens in Greece to the Nordkapp in Norway. On my way I went through Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary, Slowakia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvija, Estonia and Finland. I took me two months and I travelled 5600km. That was a crazy trip!
