I’m a 25 years old Italian girl living in and working in Brussels Belgium. I studied began by studies in Rome where I was born and I grew up. During my 6 moths experience of foreign studying in New Zealand, I discovered a real passion: travelling. A passion that lasts since ten years. I went to south and north America, Madagascar, Tanzania and to several countries in Europe. Thanks to the support of my family, I achieved a master degree in building engineer in Belgium. I’m in charge of building construction and renovation projects for social house building. I like my job because it has technical parts as well as human and social aspects.
I think I can consider myself a curious mind, a sunny and sociable person. I like meeting new people and sharing friendly moments with them. I also enjoy playing sports and I can never stay still! Sustainability and ecology are two important topics for me, in my job as in private life. I’d prefer to take my bike rather than sit in a car, or eating seasonal vegetables rather than imported ones. (Don’t worry I’m not a veggie freak! :p) I just think that we should try to live in the respect of our environment, using our resources in a responsible way.

When I travel I always try to experience the local culture. Discovering different habits, others costumes and new places are for me the best way to understand and enjoy a country. Couch surfing is a unique way of achieving this goal. A tool to enter in direct contact with the population and sharing a part of each other’s culture. I can cook tasty Italian food and I enjoy a nice conversation.
