Hey my name is Augusto, Im 27. Im peruvian, I was born in the north of my country, in a city called Trujillo, however I've been living in the capital city, Lima, about nine years ago, just when I had to start my B.A at University.
Actually I just working. I like doing sports, one that I enjoy much is some called capoeira, is such a brazilian martial art mixed with music and popular culture.
I like travelling, I've been trying to go abroad at least once a year :D. Other thing that I also love is reading, I like novels and coffe table books. I like either going out with people or just for a coffe or walking around and talking or just going for a drink at nights and getting fun. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually I hadn't heard about Couchsurfing until just recently by some friends. Once I got more information about it, I realized that it's an amazing oportunity to get together with many people from around the world. I think that is a great idea get in touch and help and share local knowledge and experience with people who is coming to my country and viceversa when I have to travel to any other country.
What is more, travelling saving money and resources cause' somebody could support with tips and acommodation or maybe just with just nice company, for example. I think that would be a nice experience receive and meet new people by couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music in general, I appreciate listening many kind of music, since Salsa until Heavy Metal.
One of my favourites bands and singers are Héctor Lavoe, La Fania All Star, El Gran Combo de Puerto rico, La sonora Ponceña, Pearl Jam, Jamiroquai, Manu Chao, Caetano Veloso, The Strokes, Natiruts, Megadeth, among many others.
I tend to go to the movies for watching thrillers or ScFi-films! Altought I don't mind watching other kind of films like dramas or animated films!
Actually I'm reading a Murakami's ScFi book called: "El fin del mundo y un despiadado país de las maravillas" in spanish, "Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World" in english. After I took that book I can consider Murakami an amazing reader.
