I'm Desiree and I'm 20 years old.
Last year I was working as an Aupair in NY, but this year I'm living in Napa. I prefer the California weather but the big apple will always be my true love.
I'm a happy person, always try to stay positive, always up for something fun and I always have a word to cheer people up. I might be shy at first but it doesn't take too long for me to open.

I love traveling but when you're an Aupair you're always on a budget so this is the most affordable way to do what I love and also the best way to meet locals.

I'm really passionate about food and obsessed with tv shows, but I hate watching an episode a week! I'm more of a season a day kind of person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Almost two years ago I chose myself and my happiness and I think this is truly amazing because most people told me I was just selfish leaving the familiar for the unknown just to follow my dreams but I raised above and here I am, despite their jealousy and hurtful words.
I was never scared, I let myself free and I have to say I feel like I belong more here than I've ever did in my hometown.
Obviously I miss my friends but if I could stay in the US forever, I certainly would.
