I'm an 18 year old black girl from the east bay who loves to do art. All kinds really, drawing painting, poetry, competitive hip hop. Hoping to learn a few instruments too. I love reading and studying philosophy.
I'm sort of reserved at first but when I get more comfortable with a person or place I open up alot!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hate feeling restricted, by anything really. And often times just being able to go, see new things meet new people participate in new activities - is what makes me feel free and I love how this website connects people who want to be able to support and share with eachother in such generous freeing ways!

I really just want to experience something new, and meet new people and learn from them or from my experiences with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh man. I listen to pretty much everything but country. And the genre of music I listen to kind of changes weekly or however my mood seems to.

I love indie films, the kind that seem almost monotonous, the kind that just show real peoples responses or lack of responses even to life. I like light-hearted movies (I wouldn't nessisarily say all comedy just because when I can tell something is trying to hard to make me laugh - it's not funny anymore). I like spiderman movies. Boxing movies and bank robbing movies (though both of these plots tend to be kind of predictable I love watching it unfold anyway).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I user to get paid for public speaking events. Idk if thats amazing but it's something I use to do. Idk if id call anything I do or have done amazing but there are plenty experiences and capacities I have that are special to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Id love to learn how to speak Japanese! Or to play guitar! Or to sculpt or breakdancing!

Idl if I'm quite good enough to be a teacher but I could give you basic hip hop lessons (isolations and whatnot) and I can try to help you sharpen your drawing skills if that's something your interested in
