Dec 2025 update: I am taking a break from hosting people for the month to do some reflection and have a break from socializing.

I’m born and raised in the city of Melaka, Malaysia. Growing up inside a city with minimal exposure to nature when I was a kid, I hope to be as close to nature as I can for the rest of my life.

Travelled mainly to South east and South Asia: Myanmar, Kathmandu, Nepal, Thailand, India. Did a year of working holiday in NZ, which was one of the best thing I did for myself, to celebrate turning 30.

I’m happiest when I’m outdoor in the forest, walking along a river valley or hiking up a mountain. NZ was almost the perfect place to live in, except it was spiritually quite empty and culturally not vibrant enough.

I backpacked twice in India: 2016 & 2024. I imagine myself going back to India over and over again through my life. There’s something about India that draws me in, I can’t quite explain it still.

I do yoga, trying to establish a routine practice but IT’S HARD to do that with a 9-5 job (UPDATE 2025: I finally quit my 9-5 job!!!!).

I am gardener wanna be. Trying to self-learn permaculture and syntropic agroforestry and hope to die a farmer. “She grew things” will be one of the things they say about me in my funeral.

I’m on CS because I’ve met and been hosted by wonderful, generous, interesting and intriguing characters. I’d love to meet like minded people and hear about your stories while I can’t continue to travel at the moment.
