About Me
voulez-vous couchez sur mon canape, ce soir?
Currently I'm a busy professional that doesn't travel all too much, but a few years back I was an avid canoe tripper so I can certainly appreciate how much a nice warm bed can feel while travelling.
I like running and generally staying active, playing cards and board games, spending time at the cottage and meeting new people. I'm hoping hosting will give me the opportunity to meet people of similar interests, but different interests as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently became a home owner in the West end of Ottawa and have a spare bedroom that used to be rented, but is now just mainly a guest room/office.
My girlfriend started hosting and had some really positive experiences with some truly terrific people so I wanted to get some of that action, but also one-up her in terms of hospitality.
I have two other male roommates that also work normal daytime hours but are very nice and nothing if not respectful.
As mentioned I'm not right near the downtown core but it's only one bus away which would pick you up more or less right outside my house.
I'm not around during the days but I could direct you to local sights, attractions and maybe a cool watering hole if you're looking for one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Raced in the Muskoka River X with my best friend, the longest single-day canoe marathon in the world. 130 Km in under 18 hours. It was kinda cool and one amazing thing I've done.

Hmm... I've got a car so I wouldn't be opposed to giving you a ride somewhere. could also probably hook you up with a rental car if your budget allows it while in town!
