Hi, my names Jamie McIntosh and I'm currently travelling around SE Asia after spending a year working in Australia. I have visited a lot of SE Asia already but there is so much more to see (it's a big old place). I really enjoy experiencing the various Asian cultures and sampling some of the amazing local cuisines, as long as they aren't too spicy! Most of my travels revolve around nature as I have a passion for wildlife, so I tend to visit the national parks or the best snorkelling/ diving spots in the area.
I'm a friendly, laid back and easy going guy who likes to help people in everyday life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I want to experience the real areas I'm in and not just stick to tourist spots where you only get a diluted version of the country. I would like to meet friendly local people who are happy to share their culture and vast local knowledge with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving at Komodo national park I found quite an amazing experience but I can't think of anything truly amazing I've done. Haven't saved anyone's life...yet.

I have a TEFL qualification in English teaching to foreign students so would be happy to help with the hosts English language skills if needed.
