Viví 5 años en Isla de Pascua (Rapa Nui), donde fui anfitriona y recibí a muchos viajeros. Lamentablemente, no pude acceder a mi cuenta anterior y tuve que crear un nuevo perfil, pero sigo con el mismo entusiasmo y la capacidad de asombro intacta. Disfrute mucho de ese proceso.

I lived for 5 years on Easter Island (Rapa Nui), where I was a host and received many travelers. Unfortunately, I couldn't access my previous account and had to create a new profile, but I still have the same enthusiasm and sense of wonder intact. I really enjoyed that process. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Una de las experiencias sublimes que he vivido fue en Rapa Nui, cuando tuve la increíble oportunidad de coincidir con una ballena jorobada durante mi primera vez buceando. La vi en su totalidad, nos miramos, y sentí una conexión profunda, como si nos hubiéramos reconocido mutuamente. Esa sensación de gratitud y felicidad fue indescriptible.

Para mí, todo lo increíble está relacionado con la naturaleza. Los momentos que me marcan suelen ser aquellos en los que soy testigo de espectáculos únicos, como amaneceres o atardeceres que parecen sacados de un dueño o de un libro. También, valoro profundamente las experiencias compartidas, como cuando aprendo algo nuevo o cuando conecto con alguien de manera tan genuina que el tiempo se vuelve irrelevante. Incluso aquellos momentos en los que no compartimos un idioma común, pero la necesidad de comunicarnos nos lleva a crear un nuevo lenguaje o simplemente es a través del humor de situaciones graciosas, me enseñan lo hermoso que es conectar sin barreras.

One of the sublime experiences I have had was in Rapa Nui, when I had the incredible opportunity to meet a humpback whale during my first time diving. I saw her in her entirety, we looked at each other, and I felt a deep connection, as if we had recognized each other. That feeling of gratitude and happiness was indescribable. For me, everything incredible is related to nature. The moments that stand out for me are usually those in which I witness unique spectacles, such as sunrises or sunsets that seem to have come from an owner or a book. Also, I deeply value shared experiences, like when I learn something new or when I connect with someone so genuinely that time becomes irrelevant. Even those moments in which we do not share a common language, but the need to communicate leads us to create a new language or it is simply through the humor of funny situations, they teach me how beautiful it is to connect without barriers.
