Hey hey hey! I'm Nuria. I come from a tiny little island in the middle of the Mediterranean, so I get stressed if I don't see the sea during a long period of time. I am open-minded, extremely curious and I get excited about big windows.

I love books, I am passionate about art and I need music to survive.

My philosophy consists in finding beauty, and the way to it is through honesty. Be sincere all the time, either be it by telling that person in the elevator that you love their shoes or stopping to talk to that old man playing the piano on the street.

I love making lists but this is hard.

MUSIC
Mostly everything. I like classical, especially cello and piano. I like Debussy for when I have headaches and Pau Casals' playing. I'm completely and madly in love with jazz. All the classics, with special love about Miles' Kind of Blue and Coltrane's A Love Supreme. Also Chet Baker, Charlie Parker, Ella Fitzgerald, Sara Vaughan, Art Blakey, Django Reinhardt, Duke Ellington, Dexter Gordon, Billie Holiday, Ornette Coleman, Sun Ra... Alice Coltrane is heaven and new voices on the road kick hard also: I am absolutely in love with Christian Scott. I met him and he called me 'sweetheart', which I find is already a big step. Kurt Rosenwinkel, Brad Meldhau, Blue Note 75 Band, Israel's new kids and Avishai Cohen...

Other stuff includes indie, house, techno, rock, blues. I love Bob Dylan and if you are thinking about criticising Bob Dylan in my presence we won't be friends. Talk Talk, Dire Straits, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, the three J's (Janis, Joni, Joan), Love, BB King, Buddy Guy, James Brown, Jaco Pastorius... And all the 60s. Why did we miss the 60s.

Oh, and Jeff Buclkey's 'Live at Sin-é' is porn.

Apart from being an oldies I like new stuff too. Kendrick Lamar is king, Badbadnotgood, Tame Impala, Alt-J, Radiohead, Mac Demarco, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Cherokee, Gramatik, Nicolas Jaar.
