I'm an enthusiastic biologist/PhD student, who loves to travel a lot! I'm also a cyclist, a bikepacker, and a hitchhiker. In the past couple of years, I've been lucky enough to visit most parts of Europe on my bike or by hitchhiking, and to experience the loveliness and hospitability of people. Travelling is my passion and it is a huge part of my life. Currently, I'm doing a PhD in ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Szeged.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in the original aims of this platform, that is, to give shelter to travelers, to do alternative stuff, step out of the line, and make every day special by getting to know people, their stories, and their ambitions. I have gathered very unique experiences as a guest by couchsurfing, now I want to give back to the community a little.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music (really depends on the situation), but rock and indie stand closest to me (e.g., Bring Me the Horizon, Carson Coma, Three Days Grace). Movies: Interstellar, Shutter Island. Books: again, hard to tell, when traveling I love to read the novels by Jules Verne, but classical scientific books like "On The Origin of Species" or "A Brief History of Time" will always belong to my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I completed a 42 days long bikepacking journey around the Balkan area, where I visited 9 countries and pedalled more than 3600 km-s - it was an awesome experience.
