I enjoy dancing, going to folk events all over Europe and meeting new people. I'm used to hosting people because of these events, but have only used couchsurfing.com a couple of times through friends' accounts, but since I've started traveling on my own it seemed like a good idea to make an account for myself.

I never understood why people seemed to like travelling so much until I found out how you really get to 'feel' a city or country when you're hanging out with locals or meeting other travellers. It is so much better than planned trips, hotels and going to touristy places where you only hear people speaking your own language all around you.
