I'm a student who is studying the french language and literature at university in Seoul, Korea. Currently, I'm staying at Paris, France for study. I'd like to travel around as much as I can because my stay here in France is very short and I know this time is never coming back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As this is the first time I'm travelling alone, I was a little bit afraid at first. But thanks to that fact, it was easier for me to meet other people and make new friends! And I found out that I'm quite fond of it. I feel excited in making new friends because it was a long time that I haven't had a chance to do so. So, I decided to participate in couchsurfing. And because I'm staying in a host family's house, I cannot offer a couch right now. But as soon as I get my place, I will start to do so, too! It's a very valuable chance to meet new people!

Interests

Travelling, eating!! I love to travel tasting foods from different cultures! I like drinking too. Any kinds of alcohol! But I'm especially interested in beers. I LOVE BEERS.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really listen to music a lot but I like to! I'm open to any kinds of music. Recently I'm listening electronic music because of my friend. And for the movies, I love watching them. But as I usually watch korean movies, it would be a bit difficult to talk about them. But I like watching any kinds of movies like I do for the music! Leon and Harry Potter, Love actually, Social Network, Whiplash were some movies that I liked.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam in the sea of Bohol Island in the Philippines. It was so beautiful under the sea with lots of fish and even sea turtles!

Teach, Learn, Share

I learn french language and literature like I said. And I'm also learning english and italian. What I'd like to learn is spanish and german. I think I'm interested in all languages haha!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my interests with them. Also I can talk about some korean or asian cultures if they are interested. I can cook some simple korean foods, too (not so good at it but fairly OK.) As I am a very open person, I would be very happy to share what I can with my hosts!
