My partner and I live with a dog, two cats, and several couches (and only one bathroom, FYI!) We're both introverts but do enjoy sharing ideas and stories with like-minded people. I love singing, reading (esp. dystopian and puzzle-oriented young adult books, plus poetry and CNF), gardening things you can eat, well-written long-form television, long walks/urban hikes, anything with garlic or olives or balsamic vinegar, thrifting, hand-lettering, and yoga.

We're new to couchsurfing as hosts but love to travel frugally, build community, and engage in bartering vs. monetary exchange. Couch surfing seems like a natural extension of those interests.
