我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have high hopes concerning Couchsurfing, it seems to me that it combines the right elements for a perfect trip which are to my mind
#1 The authenticity of the experience through the hosting system. When I get somewhere I don't want to be just another tourist visiting another "must see" , I hate to think that visiting a place can be summed up to that, I believe there are hundreds of different ways of discovering a place as there are hundreds of people who know a place in their own peculiar way. I want to have the real feeling of what it is like to live there, grasp the places vibe.

#2 It's cheaper, being a student living on a students budget doesn't really allow you to travel much. Let alone transport you can't really afford to stay at hotels, and that's why I believe Couchsurfing is a nice alternative, it makes traveling cheaper and it allows you to spend money on other things rather than a boring hotel room

#3 You get to meet new people. The couchsurfing community seems to be a very open minded one filled with adventurous travellers whom I'm sure must have great stories to share about previous travels. I hope to meet people who will make me consider going to places I have never heard of.

I'm on couchsurfing to check if it fulfills my expectations.
