Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet genuine people in my travels and be able to get a deeper insight into the true spirit and culture of the places I visit.

Interests

I'm interested in living life to the fullest, whatever that may turn out to be :)

I study and work with music, my main instrument is the piano but I also play the guitar, sing and try to make music on any instrument, if given the chance... Improvisation and following the flow in and out of music is a big thing for me :)
As a bar pianist I play music from most genres.

I love true expression, inner wisdom, inspiration, communication, following my heart and being mindful in what I do. I try to keep my body in tune with my soul, I believe in living in the present and I'm passionate about learning. I am also interested in yogi ways, balanced life, philosophy, languages and downhill skiing.

Music, Movies, and Books

'Free Play' by Nachmanovich is a favourite book.
Grieg's piano concerto and 'Change' by Tracy Chapman are two pieces of music that mean a lot to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is certainly an adventure, so there are many tales to tell.
The most recent experience is spontaneously buying a one way ticket to Chamonix in France and finding a local yoga festival, a baroque music festival, the world cup in rock climbing and all that excellent French food. All lined up for me it seems ;)
Also meeting some great new friends and experiencing the breathtaking wonder of hiking and trail running in the Alps has made the beginning of this trip truly amazing. If you're into nature and beautiful landscapes - go see the Alps!

Another cool thing I've had the chance to do was to spend three summers travelling around Europe in a caravan together with my family.

If you have a guitar or piano, I'll gladly teach you all I know, maybe I could help you learn your favourite song. Or we can have fun just jamming together! :):)

Sharing food and recipes is always a pleasure as well, and I find cooking for someone more than just myself a bliss.

I would also like to share my perspective on life and tell the stories I've lived, hopefully in exchange for some experiences and wisdom of yours :)
