About Me
Hello!
I'm Nicolás. I was born in Colombia, but I've been living in Spain for almost 17 years. That made me aware at a young age of the huge cultural differencies both countries have, even though we share the same language. Now, discovering cultural similarities and differencies, trying to engage with every point of view and experience different ways of livig has become some of my hobbies hahaha
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me travelling is not only about sightseeing. In my opinion, the best part of going abroad is to meet local people, talk with them and discover things that connect us, not only personally, but also culturally.
Nowadays, and mostly thanks to the Internet, we have the opportunity to experience that. I'm on Couchsurfing because it is an amazing tool that allows us to get the best part of travelling, compared to hosteling and other methods.

Music, Movies, and Books
For me, music equals life. I can not view them as different entities. As every other art form, music allows the artist to express his feelings in such a wondeful way that makes personal matters universal. I listen to all genres of music, but recently I've found myself enjoying Hip-Hop more tan other genres. It is always changing and evolving, Hip Hop is a wheel that is trying to spin a different way all time.
Literature is also one of my biggest hobbies. Nowadays, I'm more focus on Asian literatura and, more specifically, Japanese literature. One of my favourites from the Far East is "Ugetsu Monogatari" by Kazuya Sakai.
