Hola! My name's Marcus and I'm from Guatemala. I’ve had the great fortuna of having lived, studied, and worked around the world. Traveling has always been at the core of my being and I've learned so much throughout my travels that I'm grateful to share with you all and learn from your stories! I continually seek to engage in conversations where my personal perceptions will be challenged. My way of relating with people is through the sharing of experiences, passions and hopes – by rejoicing in cultural diversity I feel that I am able to connect with someone on a much deeper level. This feeling of belonging within a local culture and people surely emanates from my multicultural background.

I once did a week-long hiking trip to some of the largest and most ancient Mayan archeological sites in the world. This trip consisted of camping and hiking through dense, tropical jungle in Northern Guatemala. While on the trip, we encountered plenty of flora, fauna and other treats of nature!
