Drugs, sex, and rock and roll pretty much sums it up. Just joking, well maybe a little. I am a Chinese-Canadian born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada and depending on my tan I can look quite Thai or filipino. I travel because I have a fascination with new cultures and different lifestyles, which is probably why I majored in Anthropology in university. Like every couchsurfer I love meeting new people, to me sharing a beer by a sunset with some great people is my idea of a perfect time. I think of myself as a pretty interesting person, but I guess you will just have to judge for yourself when we meet.

Oh and I am not a fan of potatoes.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Because life is too short to spend in one place and with the same people. I have met the most wonderful people while travelling and couch surfing is filled with nice, honest people that share the same passion of meeting new people and sharing interests. If you have seen the movie Into the Wild or read the book, Chris McCandles writes, "happiness is only real when shared"; I am a firm believer in that, to keep learning and sharing the joy in life no matter the geographic location, age, gender, anything.

I love to listen to the Killers, One Republic, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, anything goes really. Right now I am listening to Do I wanna know (Arctic Monkeys) and Don't Dreams it's Over (Crowded House).

For books I like to read science fiction/ dystopian books such as Brave New World, Dune, The Giver, 1984, Enders Game
Other books I like are The Kiterunner, The Alchemist, Into the Wild, Shutter Island,

For movies one of my favourites is Into the Wild

I ran a 42.2 kilometer marathon spontaneously without walking. Not going to lie it wasn't fun at all and I couldn't walk the next few days but why not.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Through many years of practice I can peel and orange abnormaly fast and in one piece. Don't worry I can teach you so that you can impress your friends in the future.

Also I can teach you how to open a beer bottle with a piece of paper (you never know when you will need that skill)

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Hosts, you wonderful human beings, give me the word as to whatever your heart desires and I will get it for you. I am not the best cook, probably because my mother was so good I never bothered to learn,but I do make a really nice rice dish that I would love to share with you.

And if you are either a big beer or tea drinker I can match you cup to cup and keep you company because I am also strangely obsessed with both of them as well. While playing cards maybe so we aren't just drinking but doing something productive as well.
