Hello! Well, my name is Marcelo and -- despite my pictures -- i'm a nice and friendly person, reserved and shy at first moment, but give me 2 minutes and tell me your favorite Bowie record and I promise we can talk all night through.
Most of my time I spend taking pictures and writing code, so yes, i'm what someone may call a "multifaceted person", and that may be true: I like a lot of things and my biggest interest in life is to hear what the others have to say and try to share with them the best and nice things I can.
Now for the quicky facts.
I like: music (a lot, beaucoup, muito!), photography, cinema, fashion (which is not only how one dresses, but how one behaves aswell), languages, history and flowers.
I'm a lonely tourist, I like to have live things at my pace, maybe too slow for other people, maybe too fast. But it doesn't mean I'm a antissocial,ok?

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing allows me to meet nice people and share stories with them, which is something I love. Also, when travelling I like to feel as close as possible to the reality of places, so staying with real people, in real houses and not impersonal hotels appeals me, gives me another dimension to my experience.

Music is eveything for me, (almost) every genre, I have lots of idols and that's one of my reasons to travel.
I love cinema, the dream machine. Black and white and technicolor, maybe in between. My favorite director I'd say it's Bergman, who can say more with light than with words.

• Internet stuff, like websites (my day job is in the field of web development) and tech help in general
• Cooking. Not that i'm a great cooker, but I can help with that!
• I'm brazilian, so I speak portuguese and can **try** to teach you a few words and give you some insights. I'm no language teacher, sadly, but I can try my best to be as didatic and possible. In the same way, I'd love to receive some french, italian and english tips and get in touch with totally new idiom.
