Hello! I am a Swiss girl who loves to travel, discover new cities and meet people. I'm currently a student in sustainability (previously English and Cinema) and an amateur movie maker. I love to go around with people and take photographs or videos. Besides these subjects, I like to talk about most things and I'll pass small talk as fast as I can ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I often travel for a few days in countries that are not far from mine and I believe couchsurfing can give me an opportunity to discover them in a different way. There is nothing like adventuring in an unknown city and, who knows, perhaps gain a new friendship.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock, old disco, some soul and sometimes latino are my music genres. Not a big fan of pop, house, punk or electro but I don't mind some of it.

My favorite movies are part of an impossible list to make but I especially enjoy British humour, old/historical romance, 50's, 60's Hollywood and often old Italian movies. I'm fond of open air cinema and always open to going.

I'd say Jane Austen is my favorite author, although I enjoy Jules Verne immensely as well. As for the books that really stayed in my mind and that changed my view of literature, I would say: "The Three Musqueteers", "Pride and Prejudice", "Shangai Girls" (by Lisa See), just about any Jules Vernes book, and "Hercule Poirot" (of course!).

Couchsurfing for me is the best way to meet locals who'll change your whole outlook on the country you're visiting, whether that be by going on an adventure together or simply sharing a coffee! I believe we can learn from each other in any case.

I'm not a complicated guest/host, I mostly enjoy taking pictures so if you want any don't mind asking! I don't play the guitar or sing marvelously but I can offer my company :)
