I grew up between two very different cultures: Lithuanian and Lebanese and have lived for about an equal number of years in Lithuania, United Arab Emirates and Lebanon. This afflicted me with a great itch to travel and learn more about the rest of the world. I currently live in Beirut, a place I love and find immensely inspiring for my work.

I studied architecture, but have since become an artist and architectural photographer - I love what I do! and in turn love everything related to urban ways of living, spatial experiences, design and contemporary arts. I also enjoy wandering and discovering cities at my own pace. When I'm somewhere new, I'm often in a state of full-time amazement!

I enjoy meeting new people, the thrill of making connections across cultures and distances, but at the heart, I also like to spend time on my own. It's the way I recharge and make sense of things I see, hear and feel.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to see how people live and believe that one great way to know a city and learn about new cultures is to stay with a local or spend time with one. I have never tried Couchsurfing, but have heard great things about it.

Since June 2015, every time I travel, I find and photograph Lebanese people living in the place I'm visiting. The portraits are always taken in their homes. I now have over 100 portraits and the number is still going!
