About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I’m coming to Austin for SXSW and I truly believe that traveling is about people, not just places.
As a French alternative rock singer, I’m going there for the music festival, but also to connect with musicians, creatives, and open-minded people. I’m currently looking to meet artists and potentially connect with a band while I’m there.
For me, Couchsurfing is not just about accommodation, it’s about cultural exchange, sharing experiences, music, conversations, and discovering a city through locals rather than as a tourist. Since it’s my first time in Austin, I’d love to experience the real atmosphere of the city and meet inspiring people.
I’m independent, respectful, and genuinely curious about others. I think the best memories come from human connections.

Interests

I’m an artist who loves music and traveling, always curious to dive into new cultures and learn from different people. I have a thing for aesthetics, whether it’s through style or scents, and I’m always exploring ways to express myself creatively. I’m also really fascinated by psychology and love having deep, meaningful conversations about life, perspectives, and everything in between. For me, every new connection is a chance to grow and share something unique.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I’m drawn to alternative rock, post-britpop, grunge, hard rock, dark blues, dream pop, trip-hop, and alternative metal. Artists who inspire me include Chris Cornell, Stereophonics, Lana Del Rey, The Feeling, Zoot Woman, The National, The Devlins, Better than Ezra, Control Freq, The Picturebooks, Goldfrapp, and The Quaker City Night Hawks.

Movies:
I love thought-provoking and emotionally charged films like Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Last Days of Summer, Alabama Monroe, The Machinist, Dolores Claiborne, and The Game.

Books:
I’m inspired by the works of Marguerite Duras, Joan Didion (The Year of Magical Thinking and Blue Nights), and Stephen King—masters of storytelling with unique and compelling perspectives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my time in Bahrain and in thailand, I was blown away by the incredible hospitality of the locals. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness made every moment unforgettable and reminded me of the beauty of human connection.
