About Me

I am going to be a volunteer in Arequipa, Peru. I hope I can do a good job for the children I will work with. I appreciate ideals and ideas like standing up for human rights, saving environment, decrease food-waste, changing animal-treatment in economy, changing consumtion-habits. I want to study something with which I can turn people's behaviour a little bit more positive.
I just graduated from Highschool. I describe myself as a extremely optimistic, open-minded, happy and straight-forward person. Being easy-going and calm in most of the situations I have faced, people surrounding me tell my I was well-adjusted. I love making jokes and being fun because laughing and happiness ist the most enrichening aspect of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I love travelling and meeting people, this is a great opportunity to connect both.
Travelling as a foreign person living in a hotel doesn't permit the same great opportunity as couchsurfing. You can get to know the place and its people from an other angle. It is great to meet new people in foreign places.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my favourite songs is "Imagine" by John Lennon because the lyrics is amazing and should be an example for society.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What I did was not that amazing. Nonetheless the impact, my act had, was more heart-rending than any other situation. I gave some clothes and food to a homeless woman with litte children. At first, they didn't believe I wanted to give them all I was holding in my hands. After realising that I was serious, they were the most grateful and happy people I had met until that day. The relief all of them shared in that occasion was insane. This is an amazing thing I have experienced.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am gratwful for every new lesson I can learn. Doesn't matter which topic or aspect of life it is. At the moment, learning languages is very important for me.
I can teach whatever I can; and I share all I know and have. I like to share my knowledge about arts, Germany or food.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lovely time, a good laugh, the German language, nice cooking sessions and evenings.
