About Me

I'm an 18-year-old student, living close to Berlin, Germany. I love going to concerts and listening to music in general, reading books and of course traveling.
I love seeing all kinds of different places and meeting new people. I'm a very open, bubbly and kind person. I speak German and English and have been learning Spanish for 6 years now.
Unfortunately I can't accept guests at the moment but I definitely will in the future and I'm always happy to meet up and show you around Berlin and the surrounding areas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ever since I was little traveling has always been my favourite thing to do. My parents always took me to different places and thereby introduced me to new people and places.
I have never used couchsurfing before but I have stayed with host families in the USA, Sweden and England and I enjoy it a lot more than staying at a hostel etc. because I love engaging with locals and making new friends.
I want to go to as many places as possible and get to know the people and culture but as a student I could never afford it if it wasn't for sites like this one.
I also love meeting travelers who come to Berlin and would love to hang out and show you around.
I enjoy speaking and learning foreign languages and am grateful for every opportunity I get to step up my language game :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is the great love of my life. I'm basically always running from one concert to the next, finding new bands or listening to old ones.
My favourite type of music is 60s and 70s rock and punk.
I hope to start studying Music Management or something similar next year (2017) and make music an even bigger part of my life.
Whenever I don't have headphones on I usually have my nose in a book. I love the Harry Potter series but will basically read anything I can get my hands on.
Like probably everyone in this world I love netflix and movies and tv shows in general. My favourite movies include Sing Street, Suffragette and the Lord of the Rings

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever done was probably when I got to go to Washington DC to represent Germany at an international youth leadership summit.
Not only because I got to travel to the United states for the first time in my life but also because I met so many amazing people from a lot of different countries and developed useful leadership skills while talking about and trying to find solutions for many topics such as gender equality, access to education, human rights and refugees.
