I'm a tax lawyer living in Rotterdam, Hillegersberg. Hillegersberg is a perfect neighbourhood - it's 10 minutes by bike to the city centre, but also has it's own lake and forest. I live in a house with a garden which is located right at a small canal, where I have a small boat. Via the canal you can sail through the city centre and enjoy the great views we have.
I like to do weekend trips to Germany, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Italy - anything which I can get to by car, or fly to for not too much of money.
I'm interested in home swaps but may also welcome guests without home swap.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music - that's a hard one. I like a lot. Some of my favorites are Madeleine Peyroux and Macy Gray. My all time favorite book is the Master and Margarita of Bulgakov. I don't actually have a favorite movie.
My interests are pretty broad and I'm open to learn new kind of art, music, books, movies etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer I went road tripping with a jeep through Georgia. Most of the time no GPS, no asphalted roads, and no directions. Through the mountains, next to the black see and from the border with Russia, Armenia, Azerbejdzjan to the border with Turkey. It really was a great adventure!

I know Russian, English and Dutch, I can speak German but my grammar is a bit rusty. I would like to improve my French and Italian, but I'm open to learn anything else!
