Hi ! I am Elaïs ! With Antoine, we love to travel the world ! I’m French and Antoine is Belgian, we are 32 years old & we live in our lovely city Liège in Belgium 🇧🇪 !

In April 2024, we started a long travel of 13,5months in a big part of Asia from Istanbul to Hanoï ! 🌏
So we visited Türkiye, Georgia, Armenia, UAE, Oman, Nepal, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam!
Since June we are back in Belgium!🇧🇪

We love to discover the culture and the people from each country we travel in !
We began using CS for this travel and it already showed us one of the best things about travelling the world : meeting people and share with them !

So now, it’s time to give what CS gave us !
Unfortunately we don’t have a lot of room in our apartment but we can spend some time together !

We are a couple, open minded, curious and respectful of everybody. We like simple things in life, have a drink together, walk, hike, talk about everything, watch sunrise and sunset,… ☀️🥾

I can be sometimes a bit quiet because my English is not really good 🙈 but don’t worry Antoine can talk with you all day long about everything (he will love talking about football or electronic music) !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to meet people from around the world and learn about their culture (tradition, language,…) We try to learn some useful words from each country! We also love to discover local foods & drinks ! 🍽️🗣️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

3 days trek in Ala Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan ! A big challenge (the hardest ? a 4,6km section with 1,2km of elevation gain)
Trekking up to 5416m in the Annapurnas !
Swimming with turtles in Oman!
Saving a drowning man in Wadi Shab in Oman…
Almost die on a balloon flight…
