At the moment I'm studying at university, where I'm going to get a Master's degree in IT. In the evenings I attend English courses to become a translator.

I believe that we can win only doing everything together by sharing common inerests. So it would be perfect to meet travelers who don't mind having a beer and a talk about life ;-)

I'm very excited about outdoor recreation with friends: camping at the lake, leisurely river rafting on catamarans, walking in wild nature or in national parks and reserves, gathering mushrooms in forests etc. It would be also great to see giant sequoias someday, they're so impressing!

Creation of the Couchsurfing is a great idea.
I would be happy to find new friends through this sourse while travelling. And I'm really happy to receive guests and talk about differences and similarities between each other's countries.
Frankly speaking, I haven't been visited by any couchserfers yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing them at my place. Wellcome!

With me you can talk for hours about travelling, good movies, books, history, culture...

Favorite music bands: Nirvana, The Doors, Radiohead, ColdPlay, Rammestein, DDT and others.
It may sound strange, but besides rock I appreciate opera very much. I happened to listen to such unforgettable masterpieces as 'The Queen Of Spades' and 'Prince Igor'.

Books: classical Russian and European literature, popular science books on physics and mathematics.

I'm also interested in philosophy (especially in classical works by great German thinkers), architecture (ancient and modern monumental buildings), history (Russian Revolution), cars (what is inside them), maps, good drinks (it would be great to visit Octoberfest!) etc.
