About Me

As Gil Scott-Heron once said: I'm new here. I'm a 27 year-old PhD student who's currently living in Paris. Besides my academic career, I work with children with motor and intellectual disabilities. I share a lot of complicity with tem; they are my greatest joys.

Those are my two great passions: cinema and education. And, of course, the classics: traveling, literature, gastronomy and architecture.... I value above all the little things because they are what really make us great.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After spending a lot of years with my eyes closed, I recently started to seeing the world from a different perspective. Now, I consider myself more open-minded and up for new experiences than I used to be !

Music, Movies, and Books

Lets say the last films that I've found amazing:
James White, Anomalisa, The Son of Saul, Midnight Special, Julien Donkey-Boy, The Smell of Us, Le diable probablement, El club, It Follows, Negociador, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy....

And the list goes on and on and on. But three things: All Jarmusch, All Apatow and I'm always in the mood for Match Point.

Literature: The Bell Jar, Auster, Dahl's The witches, Los detectives salvajes, On the road, Ben Brooks...

Music: from James Blake to My Bloody Valentine, from Wu-Tang Clan to Nick Cave, from Songs:Ohia to Nosaj Thing, from Portishead to Micah P. Hinson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Come to Paris (almost) without speaking French to work with an autistic child. Quite a challenge, an experience I will never forget

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good "soirée": some cooking, chating about everything and nothing at the same time (cinema, different cultures, music, politics, life...)

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, England, France, Norway, Portugal

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Spain
