Hello, my name is Aleksas, i'm 4th year student in Vytautas Magnus University and worker in sanitary ware shop. Also owner of an old Volkswagen. :) I live and work in Kaunas, i love driving, laughing, long walks and cold beet soup (Lithuanian: Šaltibarščiai). If anyone wants to stay at my place in Kaunas - you're welcome, i guarantee a guide around the city, clean and nice bed (i can accept one or two people at my place - there is spare sofa that can expand in double bed, also one single bed that i usually sleep in) and some really bad and unfunny jokes.

I think couchsurfing is a great thing for travellers around the world because you can meet locals, have some nice walks around city, also it helps sometime to find a sleeping place. I was a mentor at my university and i had a great experience showing foreign students Kaunas city and it's spectacular places.
