My Name is Natalie, I am 20 years old and from Berlin. I've finished school last year and am now traveling around Australia with my travelmate Fabienne.

In Germany I live in a cozy flat with my mum, my younger brother and my two cats Maya and Mila. I'm such a big family person and I miss them so much. So I really need and love to have people around to talk, laugh, chill and have fun :)

We arrived in Australia on the 7th of September last year and lived in a hostel in Brisbane for two weeks. After that we worked on a horsefarm until the beginning of December. We've met amazing people who are like family now and had so much fun. Before Christmas we flew to Alice Springs/Uluru and then went to Sydney to spend Christmas and New Year's Eve there. That was amazing!
Now we are going to travel up the East Coast from Sydney to Cairns - we've been in Byron Bay, Noosa, Rainbow Beach, Tin Can Bay and are in Hervey Bay now.
We are really excited and would really enjoy doing Couchsurfing during this time. We love to meet new people and share some great time with them. We did couchsurfing three times now it always was a great experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always wanted to visit Australia before going to university and I am so happy that I can do it now.
I would really enjoy living with locals who hopefully can show us some nice and interesting places or give us useful tips!
We also can sit together with some nice cold beer and can learn from each other (you could tell us about Australia and we could tell you about our home if you like to) and just have a really good time together!

I really enjoy old music and acoustic music. And I love the melancholy music of Lana del Rey.
My favorite authors are Sebastian Fitzek and Stephenie Meyer.
I love the movie "Hachiko" (it is soooo sad, I've already watched it ten times and still cry when I watch it).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my very positive attitude and happiness with you and hopefully we can share a great time with each other! :-) We really like cooking, so we also could do this together.
