Overview
About Me
International Relations and Economics student, currently finishing maaster's degree and working as Trade Advisor at British Chamber of Commerce in Prague, Czech Republic.
I am passionate about travelling and discovering new places and cultures. After spending two semesters studying and living abroad (in Canada and Peru), and visiting many other countries, I've learnt that the best way to get to know foreign countries is to explore it with local people. Although I prefer hidden, not so well known places to famous touristic attractions (cause they are usually more fun) I enjoy visiting even the most "mainstream" places and sights as well.
Basically, I am curious about everything and since I am not quite sure what I want to do with my life in the future, I love to try new things whenever it's possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet friendly, open people that I can share fun and crazy travel stories with or just chat about random stuff while discovering new locations. Spending time with people from different parts of the world enables me to see things from different perspectives, which I think is really important, and also to learn a lot of new things including things about myself.
And I would be more than happy to show you around Prague, my hometown Olomouc and other beautiful places in the Czech Republic!

Music, Movies, and Books
I saw Friends probably thousands of times. I first cried during a movie when I saw Ratatouille (yeah, the children's film about the rat who happens to be a cook). And I love musicals - those by Andrew Lloyd Webber are my favourite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my stay in Peru, I've spent 4 crazy days living in the jungle (literally). It was one of the most stressful (because of all the spiders, snakes and other animal kinds that were of much bigger size than what we are used to, all the wierd noises and smells, the fear of getting bitten by fire ants or eaten alive by an anaconda) but at the same time the most peaceful (because of no internet connection, no deadlines, no responsibilities and no obligations - except for not letting myself die in there) times of my life.
