I am 27 years old Polish girl who has just come back from Bosnia and Herzegovina, where I spent the most wonderful time in my life! I went there because of the project callled EVS. I lived and worked there almost one year. I am in love with Balkans, especially with BiH :) That is why my dream is to open a hostel there one day... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why...? hm..because I like meeting new people from different cultures, cuz I have learnt how precious it can be. During my staying abroad I really appreciated visiting new place with local people. It gave me a better insight into places and culture, which I met for the first time. So when you put it all together, I would like to make you feel comfortable in my town.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I like different kinds of and honestly I do not care if it is sang by Michael Jackson, Celine Dion or Justin Bieber :P If I like the melody, than who cares! One of my favourite movies is Some like it hot with Marylin Monroe. But like everybody, I have a couple films that I watch whenever I have a bad mood. That would be: Under the Tuscan Suna and The other woman.
One year in BiH made me really interested into their history that is why I have started to read books such as: The War is Dead, Long live the War, Balkan Ghosts: A Journey Through History.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going for EVS! During that one year many great things have happened to me, which I wouldn't have expected. I : met soooooo many great people, saw myself in completely different light, started to appreciate myself more and like myself , fell in love, visited a lot of beautiful places, learnt little bit of serbian/bosnian etc........ !!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My sense of humour :) and knowledge about my city and other that surround it. With me you always have a chance to get lost cuz my orientation in the field is quite..... let's say intriguing :P
