About Me

After I finished school last year I decided to travel for a while, so I went to Australia for 6 months, where I mostly worked. In march I spent 2 months travelling through New Zealand, then went to Fiji for two weeks and am now back in Australia.
Leaving home for a while was probably the best decision of my life, I met so many great people, had really amazing adventures and already start to think about where my next big trip will go to.

I am open minded and always up for new adventures, I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. When I hitchhiked through tasmania someone told me that everybody has a story to tell. I totally agree.

I am basically interested in almost everything, I try to always think positive and believe in karma.
I love to laugh and hate being in a hurry, I think I'm a really chilled person and believe that things will always work out in the end, no matter how complicated the situation may look like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people from all around the world in general, but couchsurfing is great because you get in contact with locals who can share their knowledge about the area they live in.
I'm travelling alone through Australia right now, so I can't host at the moment, but I definetely will when I get home. People who travel just have the most amazing stories to tell and I don 't want to miss any of them.

Interests

I love music, I play the guitar and a little ukulele and when I get home I want to play in a Band. Festivals are amazing and I will go to many more in the next couple of years.

I love sports as well, I used to play soccer for a long time, but want to start dancing.

I love cooking and baking, since I became vegan I tried so much more new stuff. I really care about animals and the environment, as soon as I get home I want to get more active.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rise Against, Walk off the Earth, Katzenjammer, Dropkick Murphys, Authority Zero, Milky Chance...
Books: a song of ice and fire, Lord of the rings, Harry Potter, Outlander, love Ken Follett.. but I read more or less anything that sounds interesting
Movies: The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, The Lion King (Disney Movies in general)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Singing in front of 2000 people
Skydive in Motueka, NZ

Teach, Learn, Share

I think there is so much I want to learn about, but especially learning more languages is on my to-do list. I want to travel through south america so spanish will probably be the next one to learn. While I have worked as a fundraiser I met so many deaf-mute people, and it made me really sad, to not being able to talk to them, so I also really want to learn sign language.

I can teach german and playing the guitar and maybe some cooking or baking.

I am really interested in history, but in school we mostly learned about german or european history, so I would love to learn about other parts of the world.
