About Me

I'm a dreamer, a simple person and I love the simple things. I live in
Strasbourg, France, but I was born in Valparaíso, Chile, and lived there for 25 years.
I love literature, history, arts and philosophy. But I’m still a simple person, just enjoying life and looking around. I live in a very nice city. It's beautiful while is peace and serenity in my mind.
The next step is the world. I want to become a traveler, so that's the plan!
I don't see frontiers or limits to set us apart, the limits are only in our minds.
Love is all around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people from all over the world and I also want to visit as many countries as posible. Well, regarding hosting. I think returning hand is an excellent idea. That shows values we must practice and that are needed in our world, such as fraternity, friendship and generosity.

Music, Movies, and Books

I´m in a Pink Floyd’s world. That makes me really happy.
I love the British and Argentine's rock and all chilean music aswell.
I prefer the independent films. I’ m always curious and available to see a movie and learn about it.
I 'm a literature's teacher. I love books, also the longest. If we're going to be thorough, I always suggest to begin with the classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to several countries and cities, but only once I served as a couchsurfer. Fortunately, the person who stayed in was my friend Daniel (see him in my friends), who has been used to being a host and guest for many years. While I was visiting San Pedro de Atacama, in the north of my homeland I was long enough to share with 2 couchsurfers
that he hosted. I got familiar with the dynamics, the way he coexists and I witnessed a form of hospitality that I would like to replicate in the future. I think I learned a lot from that experience and I really like the way to get involved in a culture through this system. I´m not fond of traditional tourism. I prefer
a friendly welcome from a person that´s willing to help me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook everything and I am interested in multicultural exchanges through cooking. I am a teacher of Spanish and literature, so I can help my hosts with the language easily, whether hanging out in Strasbourg or other nearly city.
I am willing to learn and practice new sports. Now I prefer yoga, swimming and jogging, but I'm open to new experiences.
I want to make a good experience happen to my
guests, to find it anywhere else in the world when I need it.
