I'm a pretty basic guy that doesn't really do much. My passions are shooting pool, playing music/singing, enjoying the beauty of the great outdoors. That's just about it. I'm interested in things that stimulate the mind and especially love being around the water... Lakes, streams, rivers, oceans and anything in between. Things I hate? Mosquitos, bigots, people that feel "entitled" without hard work and ethics, diabetes. Things that move me? People who sacrifice themselves for the sake of another or their country, true love, stories of folks who have struggled to beat the odds and overcame and selfless acts of kindness. I am a fan of woodcraft and outdoor living and survival and love reality shows having to do with the same. Favorite movies include Shawshank Redemption, Man On Fire, Joe Dirt and Pirates Of The Caribbean. I am madly in love with my best friend and trust her more than anyone alive. I am a full-time RVer and love my Born Free motor home. That's about it=-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well... I have issues with my girl's daughter. She hates me and for my own peace and sanity, I moved into the RV. That allowed me the freedom to not be locked in my bedroom and her, the space free from the worry of running into me in the house. My girl supports this decision whole-heartedly and we are as strong as ever! However, this leaves me very lonely during the holiday season and that is just around the corner. I just don't wish to be alone on Thanksgiving and Christmas. That's all.
