Hello!
I am Yumi van der Meij and I am coming from the Netherlands. This year I graduated and since july I am travelling. I visited already Nepal and now I am in Japan and later I will go to New Zealand and maybe more :).
I speak Dutch and English fluent and I can understand some French and German (and speaking a little bit as well)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I like to stay with locals, because I think than I can really feel how life is going in a country!

Interests

My interest is quite big.... So if you like to teach me something, I am open minded and want to learn evertything!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like playing music, I can play guitar, piano, ukulele (I have learned it by myself and Youtube), and some other instruments I can play it a little bit as well! So I really like music, but I never read a book or something, I prefer to spend some time in playing music than in reading books...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did many nice things in my life, but the best thing is : skydiven!

I like to learn some more cultures, countries and people! If someone is interested in the Netherland, ofcourse I can teach them the language, culture and more !
