Overview
About Me
Yo. My name is Jonny (the one with the beard in the picture) and I've been travelling around India for about a year now. Before that I was working as a musician (drummer) in England and France, but I also ran a shared house in London which was home to many a couchsurfer (check out the profile Apex House - which is still hosting if people need a place in London).
At the moment I am making my way towards Australia to make my great fortune, be it in the mines or the fields.
I also used to work on music festivals in the UK - I love a festival.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People make places. I want to meet local people in the countries I go to, not just see the sites. I like to hitch-hike for the same reason - you find yourself in unusual spots, and usually one friendship leads to another and this dictates your journey. It's good to have friends ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kalaripayattu - Probably the weirdest martial art in the world. Involves very little clothes, lots of oil, big long sticks, swords, shields - and it takes place in a clay pit in the south of India. I did it for 6 weeks. I didn't get very good.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you drums. I used to be an English teacher as well, so I suppose I could teach you that as well.
