Hi!! My name is Loes (pronounced like Lose), I'm 26 and I live in Nijmegen (the Netherlands). Currently I am still studying to become a dietician. Things that I love are: sunny days, enjoying nature, dancing, swimming (in the sea), baking bread, meeting new people, good conversations and coffee!

A big part of traveling is talking to other people, learn from them, look at the differences and similarities, laugh with eachother & making memories. I love to do this with other travelers, but talking to local people makes a trip so much more special. For me, Couchsurfing is a way to explore with local knowledge, to get a real image of the way people live and to meet people you otherwise would have never met.

I love watching movies! My favorite movies are arthouse or psychological thrillers (especially with a very good plot twist). Listening to music all day long! Most of the music I listen to would be indie/folk/rock/pop but also into edm/trance :)) My favorite book is a Dutch book called 'Een schitterend gebrek'. If I find a good book, I can't stop reading and that's what I love about it. My favorite genre is family drama related, but I can also enjoy a thriller.

I built my own bed (with 'help' from my dad). It's very squeaky but I love it
