Hello,

I'm going to try to describe myself in a few sentences, hard, and making you want to learn more about me, even harder !

When i was 16, i went to Canada for 3 months without speaking a word of english. I cried for a week and wanted to go home, i swore i would never travel again like this...2 years later i was leaving my country to travel in Australia for a year and have enjoyed every bit of it ! So never say never !

Now, traveling is one of the key stone in my life. I love to feel the thrill of the departure, packing my bag, puting on my walking shoes, ... It's always an adventure to discover new people and places, even when it's not far from home.

When i'm not traveling, Iam a teacher near Paris, and i manage the library of the school i work in. Basically, i teach teenagers how to do their researchs on the internet safely and i try to interest them in reading which is a great challenge but also a great reward when it works.

In general, i am a very optimistic personn and enjoy simple things of life : eating and discover new food, reading, walking, cooking, gardening, running, outdoors activities, talking, ... I'm also interested in meditation and yoga. I really enjoy beeing outside, surrounded only by nature, or animals (my father is an organic farmer so im very concerned about the protection of the environnement).

To be honest, i do not have a big passion but many interests and always willing to discover and learn new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, travel rythme with encounter.
I think a place is worth enjoying if somebody is on your side to share it with you, to talk about with you.

I really want to share experiences wih people, discover other ways of living, and make discover mine.

My favorites books : Au bonheur des dames, Pride and Prejudice, and classic authors like Victor Hugo, Steinbeck, Stendhal, Arthur Conan Doyle, etc
I also grew up with the Harry Potter saga.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Making coffee in Tasmania, in the middle of nowhere, using paper as a coffee filter. Enjoying it while watching the mountains around me.
