Meeting people through CS is such a great experience, stranger we'd never meet otherwise and willing to share and trust you... the first CS experience I had made me believe there's still true kindness out there.

My philosophy in life could be told by the Amerindian legend, narrated by Pierre Rabhi, the founder of the Movement of the Hummingbird (France) :
"One day, said the legend, there was a huge forest fire.
All of the animals were terrified, grounded, they watched the disaster powerless.
Only the small hummingbird did something, to get a few drops of water with its beak to throw on the fire. After a moment, the armadillo, annoyed by this ridiculous agitation, said to him: "Hummingbird! Are you crazy? It is not with a few drops of water that you'll extinguish the fire!"
And the hummingbird answered:" I know, but I do my part."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I went to London, a couchsurfer promised me his flat while he wasn't even there. He was in holidays far away. He just trusted me. Also, I had a walk around London whith a stranger who wrote to me few days before, and he just was so kind to me, expecting nothing but sharing the moment. My London travel was just the most human experience I ever had... I'm still wondering if all this was even real. It blew my breath away. Now I can't way to travel more and meet with more kind humans, to be sure I wasn't dreaming !
