I am a born and raised Singaporean who has spent most of my life at home but is now in Germany studying. So there's absolutely no excuse for me to remain idle and not go exploring all the countries in this part of the world.
As regards my interests, my first and foremost passion is language learning. This hobby of mine has enabled me to make friends from all over the world, and although I do admit that maintaining so many languages can be tiring, getting to meet people from all corners of the globe and constantly being surprised by what I see and hear through them never is. I am also an avid birdwatcher, and although I can't explain with concrete reasons why I'm so obsessed, don't they say after all that love is blind? In any case this second hobby of mine has given me the excuse to explore the most stunning of natural landscapes off the beaten track. Another version of the authentic experience, I assume.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To experience as much of Europe and surrounds as I can before I leave Germany. Nothing compares to travelling on a shoestring and experiencing places through the eyes of a local both at once! I would also be most glad to share with those interested my experiences at home and travelling abroad.
Of course, even if my money eventually runs out and this stops me travelling, I would very much like to continue meeting new people here and learning about your languages, cultures and countries. As I said above, I never tire of having interesting people enter my life.
