I'm Sita, always in for an adventure.
Nature and animals are important to me, always in for learning more about life.

My life in the Netherlands is really basic, living in a caravan with only electricity from the sun and no running water. I like living basic because it makes me very thankful for simple things in life.
I work project based, so that's giving me a lot of time to travel and explore.
Me and my boyfriend did a walk from north to south France in 2015 (1400km in 70 days) this was amazing and my love for traveling by foot is something I will never break up with.

Bird research is also something big in my life. I love birds and all their secrets. So I in the Netherlands I help with the local research and sometimes I travel to other country's for this. We catch birds to give them a ring with a personal number and sometimes with a gpsbackpack. It helps us to get a bigger picture of the birds life.
In Ottenby (Sweden) I helped with some bird flu research by taking blood and cloaca samples of wild ducks.
It was awesome to work and live on this rough island.

I think getting to know a country trough locals is one of the best things because locals are their country.
