I am a 23-year old Russian working at the RUDN University, where people from 158 countries study. So I deal with people of different cultures and background.
Moreover, I am a researcher studying spatial identities (how and why people think/believe they belong to this geographical community). Because of my research, I have visited such places, as Moldau, Georgia, Estonia, Chukotka and Kamchatka.

In 2016 my friend and I decided to go to Germany, and in the last moment something went wrong and our hotel did not book a room, so we had nowhere to live. My friend suggested that we used Couchsurfing, and I had doubt due to safety reasons, but it was the best decision, because I learned this is best way to meet new people and enrich through dialogue and exchange of ideas

I am more "tv-series"-type - House of Cards, Mad Men, Billions, Game of Thrones and The Young Pope. Oh, and The Office.
Books... impossible to enlist all of them, so I will just name my favourite authors like Theodor Dreiser, Maurice Druon, Gabriel García Márquez, O. Henry.
Moreover, I love non-fiction and read a lot of fiction on business and finance topics (Michael Lewis, all books)

I went to Moldova with my research group and we managed to get suspected that we were Russian spies, though we were just making a research about Moldovan culture.

I would love to spread knowledge about Russian culture, because Russia is an amazing country with an image, that could definitely be more positive. It has great people and wonderful places, and as a surfer I can bring some specialities from Russia, because nothing unites people more than nice food!
