I'm on Couchsurfing because I have a hunger for adventure and experiences that are normally far more difficult to achieve without the help of the incredible people I meet on my journeys. This app helps me meet them sooner. I am also an amateur archaeologist and anthropologist so I tend to travel to places for my own research and enthusiasm.

兴趣

My interests include archaeology, anthropology and film. My goal for 2017 is to combine these passions to create global documentaries on ancient and contemporary culture.

I'm also an extreme sports junkie. I do rock climbing, archery, ice climbing, survival camps, martial arts, sport shooting and many more.

I'm incredibly interested in fine arts and art history.

I'm not always out and about. I do have a weak spot for video games, good movies and cooking 😉

My mainstream song choice is anything by Sia. I really enjoy cultural and classical music but for different reasons. My two favourite movies are "The Help" and "Cloud Atlas" (both of which are bloody good books too!). My favourite books are "Endurance" which is a chronicle of Sir Ernest Shackleton's Arctic voyage and "the Bartimaeus Trilogy".

I was one of two people who were given exclusive access to the underground Livingstone archives in Zambia where I read letters handwritten by David Livingstone that had never been read before and helped transcribe some of them on to digital text format.
