About Me

Hola!

Hi! I'm Lucía from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I like reading, writing, watching TV series, basketball and eating. Especially eating. I usually find it hard to talk to people I don't know but once I get to know them a bit it's ok. I actually like interacting with new people, it kind of brings some freshness into everyday life. I LOVE going to concerts, I think watching the artists you like perform live is one of the most amazing experiences ever. I've visited many places in Argentina, and I travelled abroad for the first time in 2017. First, I went to Israel with a group of people. After that, I started an adventure on my own. I went to Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brugge, and then I travelled around the UK and a few days in Ireland. It was an amazing experience, I learnt a lot not only about the world but also about myself, and I came back excited to keep on travelling and living new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think getting to know other cultures is super interesting, and it's great to know a place through its people rather than its tourism industry.

Music, Movies, and Books

Arcade Fire, Phoenix, Cage the Elephant, Kate Nash, Vampire Weekend, Linkin Park, Ice Nine Kills, Crown The Empire, Escape the Fate, Falling in Reverse, Panic at the disco, Fall Out Boy, etc etc. Also, I sometimes listen to pop or classical music. A woman with many different faces.

Mark Haddon, Julio Cortazar.

Meeting some of the pople I deeply admire.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn about other people's culture, their lifestyle, their points of view. I'd also like to know new places and new experiences that could help me grow and open my mind.
I can share with others a bit about my culture and my language, the things I like, the music I listen to, the books I've read, the reasons why Luis Scola is the best basketball player ever. Among other things, I hope.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Talking, a little bit of cooking, some laughter, I hope, some Spanish classes, some stories about things I've done, ears to listen to their own stories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Scotland, Wales
